Local Golf Course Renovated

Castle Creek Country Club, located 5 miles north of Escondido, has gone through an extensive renovation. Purchased in March of this year by Josephine Development LLC, the club has added over 300 yards in length, making the Championship tees an imposing 6638 yards, with a 72.0 rating. Along with the additional length, Castle Creek has rebuilt all 18 greens and has added white silica bunker sand to enhance the play of its' golfers. The club has also recently over seeded the course with winter rye grass, giving the course emerald green fairways and roughs. To re-introduce Castle Creek to the San Diego golfers, the club will be having a special promotion, offering green fees and carts at 50% off during the week of November 1-7. Larry Taylor, General Manager, said, "Castle Creek is a club rich in tradition, dating back to its’ birth in 1948 as Circle R Country Club. It is our intent to make Castle Creek the finest club in North San Diego. The special discount week is our way of inviting San Diego golfers to see what we have accomplished."
