7th Hole - "Sycamore"

(Par: 4) "Sycamore" is named for the beautiful grove along the fairway. This hole has a large pond directly in front of the tee which requires a carry of about 150 yards. Anything short of that will result in either a drop only 20 yards ahead or re-teeing the ball and a penalty stroke. There is also out of bounds on the left and a lateral water hazard bordered by a stand of trees on the right. A good drive will result in a second shot with a mid to short iron into a green that is guarded on both sides by sand bunkers and which tilts slightly to the right toward the lateral water hazard.
