5th Hole - "Shoot-out"

(Par: 3) This hole is located near the site where the famous 1888 shoot-out took place. This is a fairly clean simple hole without serious trouble except for the lateral water hazard on the left side and the large oak tree and a bunker on the right. A short to mid iron shot will enable an effort at a birdie. Players playing from the black tees will have an entirely different look, having to shoot over the oak tree in front of the green.
